Caregiver Training Supervisor – LPN

Comfort Keepers is seeking a Training Supervisor to conduct initial and ongoing caregiver and staff training for all three of our offices located in Spartanburg and Greenville, SC and Tryon, NC, and requires travel to these locations.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring members of the company care team to ensure caregiver training meets or exceeds company requirements. We are seeking candidates with prior teaching and presentation experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license  or CNA  with hands on training experience 
  • 2+ Years Training Experience
  • 2+ Years Supervisory Experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts initial training to new caregivers
  • Conducts annual training to existing caregivers and staff
  • Conducts additional caregiver training and certifications as required monthly
  • Prepares training materials and documents per company policy
  • Maintains regular contact with newly trained caregivers during their first 90-days of employment for follow-up to assess initial training competencies
  • Maintains regular contact with existing caregivers by conducting random in-home visits to assess and validate training skill retention
  • Supervise, train, and coach company caregivers
  • Review new caregiver training plan and design to maintain relevancy and ensure efficiencies
  • Proposes staff training and development programs and objectives
  • Plans, organizes, facilitates and creates order supply lists for caregiver development and training
  • Monitor and ensure caregiver skills are accurately represented in ClearCare
  • Serves as a leader to inspire and engage caregivers to adhere to standards and expectations which aligns with a spirit of service.
  • Monitors and tracks caregiver training completion.
  • Conducts caregiver training and assessment visits.
  • Monitors spending against Training Budget
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration between training and care teams
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Environment: Office environment. Does require travel in a personal vehicle to visit clients, referral sources, which mileage reimbursement is given

Status: Full Time Exempt

Position Physical Demands: Walking, sitting and standing with lifting limited to files and records typically not expected to exceed 5 pounds in weight.  Extended time at a computer work screen and on the telephone and sitting/driving in a vehicle.  May be required to provide services to a client, so would need to be able to lift to 25 pounds.
