Human Resources Manager

Comfort Keepers is looking for a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our small office team. Your responsibilities will be supervising the hiring process from sourcing, interviewing, training, to onboarding.  

 

A successful Human Resources Manager cannot depend on a talent pipeline to fill the needs of the business.  A successful Human Resources Manager will have a robust recruitment strategy and be actively involved in attracting excellent candidates to Comfort Keepers. The position requires prior experience in Human Resources.  Strong interpersonal skills and technical skills, creative approaches to hiring, and the ability to work independently. Home health industry experience a plus.  

 

 

Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:

- Identify and source potential candidates through networking, referrals, job fairs, publications, professional associations, internet, etc. 

- Keep up to date on local trends on how to stay competitive in the local community.  This may include benchmarking competitor pay ranges and benefit packages. 

- Constantly monitor recruitment procedures for increased efficiency and effectiveness  

- Maintain effectiveness of efforts through data and metrics 

- Ensure franchise has adequate staffing levels to support ongoing business growth

- Ability to adjust staffing priorities based in accordance with changing business needs and unforeseen external factors

- Ability to use multiple platforms for recruitment and branding

- Perform administrative tasks as assigned

 

 

Human Resources Manager Requirements:

- Knowledge of labor laws & HR practices

- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications 

- Ability to navigate and manage all social media accounts

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent management and leadership skills

- Sound organizational and decision-making skills

- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Accountability and ownership
